Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty to Me" Spoofed By A's Fans

Earlier today, I was sitting at home, bored without much to do. I decided to go on the youtube app on my PlayStation 3. Yesterday was an off day for the Athletics, and the game wouldn’t start for another couple of hours, so I needed my fix of baseball for the day. I typed in “Oakland Athletics” in the search bar, and came across a gem.

I’m not the biggest fan of a lot of the new music that comes out these days, but even I have heard the song “Talk Dirty to Me” by Jason Derulo. I’m sure everyone has. A group of clever Athletics fans has.

The video is called “Talk Nerdy to Me” and it is quite the clever spoof of a very popular song by Jason Derulo. The song is obviously about none other than the now famous Eric Sogard.

Earlier this year, Sogard was catapulted onto the national stage when fans voted him to the finals of the “Face of MLB” competition. During that competition, twitter went crazy for Sogard, utilizing the hashtag “#NerdPower” on the count of he is one of the very few major league players who wears glasses out there on the field.

The song isn’t entirely accurate. It goes on to boast about how amazing of a player Sogard is, but he isn’t off to a great start this season. It talks about a lot of the players on the roster and how good they are, but that Sogard is the best. In all reality, he isn’t. But we still love him and the video is entertaining to say the least.

Without further ado, I present you with “Talk Nerdy to Me”:
