Face of MLB: It's Time to Vote

Sogard only has us, A’s fans! Joey Bats has an entire country of votes.

The time to vote for Eric Sogard as Face of MLB is now A’s fans! Sogard is currently leading 52/48. He was ahead by a much larger margin, but his Nimbus 2000 (Harry Potter’s broom) is slowing down. Sogard’s lead started to dwindle when Jose Bautista started tweeting out “RT if you want me to follow you. #JoseBautista #FaceOfMLB” every 5 minutes. Of course people are doing this, and his vote totals are adding up. It’s a cheap tactic, but I get it. Let’s make sure it doesn’t work! The Giants tried giving away a signed ball for 5,000 votes. That didn’t work against us either! We are united for a cause, and that is #NerdPower

So this is the time to vote. Out of votes? Keep tweeting. Every Re-Tweet you get counts! Many fans have ended up in Twitter Jail today due to tweeting to much. No big deal, right? It doesn’t go on your permanent record or anything. The main thing to remember is that this is for fun. Be creative. It’s meant to kill some time before the season starts and get the fan bases revved up for the upcoming year.

The A’s community has made a great number of things happen. Just last week, First Pitch for Diego was green lighted. This week, we make #EricSogard the #FaceOfMLB
