Battle of the Bay for Face of MLB Supremacy

Round 2 is upon us in the Face of MLB tournament. Tuesday February 18 is the day. ALL DAY! Ok, well technically, from 6AM Tuesday until 5AM Wednesday.
Now, I imagine some Giant’s fans are not happy with the amount of tweets that were cast against Buster Posey by A’s fans over the weekend, so we will need to come out in full force to ensure a victory for Eric Sogard. If he does advance, it will set up a Battle of the Bay between Sogard and Posey. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. First, he needs to defeat the Rockies‘ Troy Tulowitzki tomorrow.

If you are curious why Sogard is the face of the franchise, it’s simple. A’s fans love Nerd Power, and feel that he embodies the A’s underdog spirit. Sogard works hard every day to make sure that he doesn’t go anywhere. He is the epitome of a team player. In today’s game, when players are signing for hundreds of millions of dollars, most players are trying to get a piece of that pie. Sogard keeps plugging away and making his team better.
