Potential A's Player Walk-Up Music for 2014

The 2014 baseball season is on its way and the question that is on everyone’s mind is this: What will be blaring over the Coliseum speakers as each player steps up to the plate? Here are some suggestions.

Josh Donaldson

I know this is a far cry from last year’s Regulator, but if you listen to the first 30 seconds of the song, they are perfect for Donaldson. They go, “I wonder what it’s like to be the rainmaker. I wonder what it’s like to know that I make the rain.” Make it rain Josh, make it rain.

Josh Reddick

Josh Reddick loves professional wrestling, and his walk-up music is always one of the superstar’s themes. Last year he went with Ryback, HHH and Daniel Bryan. This year I think the Shield would be a good pick. The beginning to the song gets the juices going, and could help him find his power stroke in 2014.

John Jaso

Every woman in my family has a crush on John Jaso, and I am pretty sure they have let him know that on multiple occasions. Obviously, Right Said Fred’s I’m Too Sexy is a perfect fit for him. It could even turn into a dance craze in Oakland when he comes to the plate!

Brandon Moss

As one of the power hitters on the club, Moss brings a lot of BOOM to the A’s. For him, I went with Boom! Shake the Room by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. Moss will be bringing plenty of boom to the A’s lineup in 2014.

Coco Crisp

At some point this season Coco will use this song. Whether it is to start the season, or if he is going through a slump, this song will be heard in Oakland this year. Everyone likes to Bernie Lean!
