Rapper Emoney Makes A Tribute Song For The 2012 Oakland Athletics

The Oakland Athletics’ season has been magical.  It is nearly impossible to explain what really is “happening in Oakland.” For a team that was expected to lose 100 games, they have defied all odds and have made the playoffs for the first time since 2006.  A’s fans are able to say, once again, “We Here.”

Rapper Emoney, who happens to be a close friend of mine, has made an Oakland Athletics tribute song that perfectly portrays the magic of the A’s season.  The song is not your typical tribute song about a team; it bleeds the knowledge of a true fan.  Oakland Athletics pitcher Jerry Blevins recognized the hard work of rapper Emoney’s song when he tweeted the link for fans to enjoy.

The song has gained much deserved attention since being tweeted by Jerry Blevins.  ”We Here” has been played on 95.7 The Game’s radio station multiple times and getting called “the official song of the Oakland A’s” by their radio host Chris Townsend.  If you are an Oakland Athletics fan you must hear this song.
