A’s Owner Lew Wolff Denies Interest In Dodgers

Could A’s Owner Lew Wolff become the next owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers one day?

Probably not.

The whole speculation began when ESPN.com’s Buster Olney wondered if Wolff could/would become the next owner of the Dodgers. Apparently, however, Wolff has zero interest in becoming a part of the Dodgers’ franchise, and is essentially still interested in finding the A’s a new stadium to play in. Whether that means moving the team out of Oakland or not, has yet to be seen.

Many fans are upset with Wolff’s interest in exploring other options other than Oakland, and many are pushing for a new owner altogether. Meanwhile, in Dodger-Town, Dodgers fans are growing somewhat tiresome with the whole McCourts’ situation, and are also pushing for a change in ownership.

The A’s, in midst of an 81-81 season, are looking to build off a season where their young pitching led baseball in quality starts with 103. The future is bright for the A’s, but their stadium situation remains unclear…especially with Wolff at the helm.
