According to multiple reports, including Yahoo! sports, the A’s OF Coco Crisp was held out of Sunday’s lineup due to a broken left pinkie—the same finger that caused him to go on the DL in the beginning of the season. According to the report, the A’s OF broke the finger while sliding into third-base during Saturday’s game against the Twins.

In 75 games this year with Oakland, Crisp has hit .279/.342/.438 with 8 home runs and 38 RBIs. The A’s signed Crisp, an excellent defender, to a one-year deal worth $5 million this offseason. The team has an option for next season, although it’s unclear as to whether the A’s will bring Crisp back to their already crowded outfield.
